All About The Butter

Skin ē Butter is a natural, silky smooth, whipped Body butter that is made to moisturize and treat your Skin with ēssential nutrients.  As the largest organ on our body, our skin absorbs everything we put on it, so why not put something that will nourish it, smell great and prevent the ashy look.  LOL!   Our base is raw unrefined shea butter, coco butter, coconut oil.  We add vitamin E and other natural oils.  For fragrance we use essential oils, and some fragrance oils.  All ingredients are whipped to make a luxurious moisturizing butter that is great for your skin and smells great.

Shea butter is fat that has been extracted from shea tree nuts. Most shea butters come from shea trees in West Africa. Rich in vitamins A and E that repair and protect the skin and has essential fatty acids that boost collagen production and has shown anti-aging properties. It is especially good at keeping the skin moisturized in the colder winter months. It has also been shown to sooth eczema, psoriasis, and rashes.  It Helps to prevent stretch marks, whether pregnant or just growing. It has been said to minimize the visibility of existing stretch marks.

Cocoa butter is a type of vegetable fat that comes from cocoa beans. Cocoa butter contains a high amount of fatty acids, which make it well-suited as a primary ingredient in skin cream. Fatty acids help to hydrate the skin. The fat in cocoa butter creates a protective barrier that holds in moisture and prevents your skin from drying. Cocoa butter is a decent source of vitamin E. In more recent times, researchers have found that cocoa has several healthful properties, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Coconut Oil is fat cold pressed from the fruit. It is proven that virgin coconut oil hydrates the skin and lock the moisture in. Coconut oil is rich in antioxidants which reduce inflammation and helps wounds heal fast.

 Our Skin ē butter is made with ingredients that are beneficial for your skin without all the chemicals from commercial body butters. A little of this product goes a long way! Packed with the goodness of shea butter, coconut oil and cocoa butter, this body butter is super nourishing.

Recommendations: We recommend using it before bed or right when you get out of the shower. This body butter does not contain any water and is also preservative free. Please be sure not to introduce water to this product. Store in a cool, dry place.

This product melts at 86 degrees Fahrenheit. If it is warmer than that where you live, the product may melt during shipping. It is still ok to use if it melts, but the Shea butter can go grainy and the whipped texture will be lost.
